Spiritual Forecasts
The Spiritual Forecasts section contains exciting news and messages related to how God's Spirit will be moving in our world and working in our daily lives.
The Lenten season is a time for spiritual growth, enlightenment and renewal of your mind, body, spirit and soul.
Begin by focusing on yourself, your feelings, your needs or concerns and most of all your reactions to others and situations affecting your life. How long does it take you before you decide to pray and give your will over to the Lord Jesus Christ? How you answer the above question determines your level of trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Growing in your faith is a continual process which develops and transforms you according to your ability to open your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. Ask Him to enter into your heart and fully take control of your will in all aspects of your life, you will be amazed!
Open your mind and most of all your heart to really focus on what is necessary to achieve a very deep relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Learning to have complete reliance on the Lord Jesus Christ in all areas of your life, should be your goal in life to pursue.
Now during this time of Lent, reassess your life and goals so that they help you focus more on the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The following Bible verses will guide you in your journey:
1 Peter 5: 6-11
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Blessings,
Cheryl
The year of 2011 is a phenomenal exciting celebration of our precious savior, the blessed Lord Jesus Christ!!!
All of us need to give our deepest gratitude, praise, thanksgiving and love from the depths of our hearts and souls forevermore to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
During this year, let us begin to become more aware of the spiritual realm, so that we can become a greater asset to God. Our focus should be on fulfilling, to the greatest of our ability, whatever gifts that we have received from God and using those gifts to serve others in need. All of us receive various gifts from God of a different magnitude and so God’s expectations of each of us varies accordingly.
Begin this year deep in prayer with the Lord Jesus Christ asking not only for your needs and the needs of others but most of all asking what you can do for God! The following Bible verses are most enlightening:
"Romans 8:28-39 — 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[b]
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Now let us begin the great “celebration,” my heart is overflowing with great love for God and all people worldwide. The following verse should inspire us all:
Matthew 7:7-8 — 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Love & Blessings,
Cheryl
