I Love You…
Do you hear what I am saying, my beloved child? I am speaking and reaching out to you. Yes…YOU. Still not sure who I am talking to?
You are my beloved child of whom I adore. I have blessed you, provided for you, watched over you and guided your steps. I have given to you the greatest gift that has ever been given. I have done this out of love. For what I have done is this…I gave my Son, who was and always will be faithful, over to the sinful world to be sacrificed in your place. He did so willingly out of His love for me and also His love for you.
I ask you this…has there ever been a greater gift given?
Do you hear what I am saying?
Do you now know that it is YOU I am speaking to?
Yes…YOU, my beloved child who now at this very moment is reading this.
For my son, Jesus, was the greatest gift ever given. I gave you this gift because….. I love you! I am your Father and you are my beloved child. Now go forth in peace and joy remembering with a joyful heart that…I love you.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Blessings,
Sheri
Lent is a time to renew and grow in your spiritual life. Your spirit needs to be nourished and uplifted by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus offers us His love, His joy, and His peace in order to aid in the growth of our souls.
Learn by following the Lord Jesus Christ’s examples of living a life devoted to serving others.
Enrich your spiritual life by growing closer to God.
Notice the needs of others and joyfully fulfill their needs.
Talk to God daily and talk openly to others about the Love of God.
This Lent give something of importance to God and to others. We live in desperate times; many people are suffering in various ways such as loss of jobs, medical needs, lack of food and shelter, etc. Let’s help each other through these difficult times; give in any way you can. A little goes a long way. That is the Lord Jesus Christ’s way of showing us how to walk in love.
So not only show God’s love this season, but do something to actually make a difference for someone else. Each of us has something worth giving or sharing with another person. Just search your heart!
Blessings,
Cheryl
This is the year to learn and explore the true meaning of patience. The dictionary definition of the word patience is the capacity of calm endurance. The Lord Jesus Christ is watching and examining each of us to determine our level of patience. Look in your Bibles at the book of Galatians chapter 5, verse 22:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…”
Each of us should be trying to improve ourselves in every fruit of the Spirit, but this year our focus will be on patience. Learning patience during trying and difficult times takes an intense level of perseverance. Our entire world is in a crisis and each of us will experience the effects in various forms; financially, loss of jobs, loss of the ability to keep your home and so many more elements will be affected.
During these difficult times is when we need the Lord Jesus Christ deeply involved in our personal lives. We must put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ no matter what direction or circumstances that we find ourselves dealing with in the future. You will find the following explanation of patience quite enlightening:
Perseverance is to persist in or remain constant to a purpose, idea, or task in the face of obstacles.
Attitude that is willing to adapt to any changes that occur in our lives.
Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ’s control over our lives.
Increasing our spiritual growth to a higher level.
Endurance to overcome our circumstances.
Notice and aid others in need regardless of our own circumstances.
Calmness through all the chaos in our personal lives and the world.
Enjoy a very deep close personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ!
I hope that each of your lives will be enriched by the enduring love of our precious Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ!
Love & Blessings,
Cheryl
